Our pretend African Safari

Kylee and I tagged along with dad again and this time we stopped at a wildlife safari. You walk through and touch the animals. Kind of crazy, but lots of fun!

Kylee petting her first skunk. Doesn't really care....guess there was too much to see.

Trip Back Home

So we had the opportunity to go home and visit the family and some friends. It was absolutely a blast! During the trip our camera was being stubborn and would not work most of the time, so here are just a few pics of our trip.

We were able to spend the weekend up in Montpelier with Jeremy's family. The power was down for a few hours so Grandma struck up her accordion and entertained all of us. It was great!

Jeremy and I got to see my best friend get married. It was one of the best ceremonies that I have ever been to! Thanks mom for watching the munchkin!!

My dad took the day off and made us his 'famous' ham and cheese omelets. Yum!

Kylee loved hanging out with all of her cousins! This is a cute pic we snapped of her and Travy.

Here is a pic of my mom, grandma, and sister in law on Moms day.

As Jeremy and I prepared to leave the family came out and stood in a line in front of the house waving goodbye. SO SAD!! - When my brothers saw that I was crying, they cheered. Don't you just love family! ;)

Happy Mothers Day!

Women only -
I do realize that mothers day was almost a full week ago, but I wanted to give a shout out to all those who have ever been peed or pooped on, whos boobs are more like "rocks in socks" and who ever has gone many sleepless nights! Despite how much our bodies change, and how much we give of ourselfes - we sure are lucky for the little sweet things in return!! Happy Mothers Day...

Most of all I wanted to brag about my hot new shoes!! Jeremy is so good at surprises! I was walking around in Nordstrom's and picked them up admiring their great beauty and a few days later I was graced with their presence. :)

Help Me!

So I am coming into town and need my hair did like crazy. If you know anyone who is REALLY good at doing color. Please let me know!!

Weekend Project

Of course this last weekend was spent working on the house. During this whole renovation Jeremy and I did allot of painting on the patio. Unfortunately we painted and colored the cement of the patio. So...for a quick and cost effective solution, we decided to stain the cement. Before..

After...

Our Little Soldier

Jeremy taught Kylee to fold her arms the other day and I just love how she marches around the house!

How hard is it to put down the toilet lid?

I never really understood the concept of putting down the toilet lid - until I had a baby and everything was being thrown into the toilet. When Kylee was about 6 months old we started 'praticing' putting down the lid. 6 months later Jeremy was still struggling with this and my cell phone ended up in the toilet. After thinking of how I could teach my older kid (aka the hubby) I came up with the idea of making a chart, (or as Jeremy likes to call it...the 'nazi' chart.) I would write down everytime that Jeremy would leave the toilet seat up and IF he filled up the chart then I got a free day of shopping at Ross.

Needless to say the chart got filled up...........So I'm......GOIN SHOPPIN!!!!!
